Romans 12:19

" Do not take revenge, my dear friends, but leave room for God's wrath, for it is written: "It is mine to avenge; I will repay," says the Lord.

Wow. Just wow. All this time, when I was plotting, scheming and planning to avenge my hurt feelings, wounded pride or unkind words. All I had to do was give it to Father God.

That makes a sense now.

I'm sure I'm not the only one with this revelation. How can we hold anyone to a standard if we stoop to their level?

If we continue to hold the standard, Father will fight our battles and give us peace in storms we were meant to go thru, not fight with.
