Iron Sharpening Iron

Proverbs 27:17 says, " As iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another."

I read that and heard that if I was the one being sharpened, I was the person benefiting from the exchange. Not so!

In the whole process, both pieces are being changed; the sharpener and the one being sharpened.

Usually there is fire, sparks and I'm sure areas of discomfort. All of this is necessary for the end result. But it doesn't stop there. Now, as we are sharpened, we must be able to withstand to sharpen others.

God will always equip us with what we need, even in the sharpening of ourselves and the sharpening of others.

Have an amazing Sabbath!
